The service was impressively fast; within just five minutes of placing our order, our server began bringing out the appetizers. In only 15 minutes, all the food was served and placed on the table! Considering we ordered quite a variety, that was quite impressive. Our selections included: - Crab Rangoons - Salt and Pepper Calamari - Beef Satay with Peanut Sauce and Vinegar - Seafood Basil - House Lo Mein - General Tso's Chicken - Spicy Pot of Gold - Tiramisu Each dish was excellent in quality and execution, although my dad thought the General Tso's Chicken was a touch too crispy for his liking. Absolutely delightful! I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, and they were incredibly flavorful and sweet with a nice broth. The dumplings had a tasty filling, but the dough was a bit too thick for my liking. The spring roll was definitely my favorite dish. The Pad Thai had a pronounced tomato flavor that strayed from traditional recipes, but it was cooked perfectly.
Great value for delicious Thai food! I've always enjoyed it here. I usually don’t order drunken noodles, but I’ve never had a bad experience at any Thai restaurant I've visited in Columbus. Definitely give this place a try for lunch; it’s worth it! I usually order takeout, and the staff is consistently friendly and efficient. No complaints at all!
We started ordering from here during the pandemic about UberEats, not knowing where this place was in our neighborhood. Seriously so good, we've always ordered. This is a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious Asian cuisine! It reminds me of dishes from my home country. I tried the satay (chicken skewers), green curry (which my father ordered), red curry, fried rice, and tom yum soup. We definitely had a lot of food, and the portions were quite generous. I will definitely come back!
Consistently the best hot and fresh food! We would eat it every day if we could. If there's ever an issue, the team quickly resolves it and communicates well with us. Maybe someday we'll visit the actual location. We can't recommend this place enough! Plus, the prices are very reasonable too! Yay for Chi Thai!
The Beef Satay (four pieces) was flavorful and well-seasoned. The Tom Kha Gai was excellent, easily one of the best I've tasted. Unfortunately, the Drunken Noodles fell short. They were made with short, dry noodle pieces that were overcooked and mushy, lacking freshness. It was a letdown.
We love Chi Thai! They’re super accommodating with tiny changes in our orders (sometimes I want sesame bean curd! Sometimes I want garlic chicken but with the sauce from hunan bean curd! Always good food and quick service!!! I've been going here since before COVID (new reference point). They were awesome during COVID, stayed open, had rules but kept serving up great food! Love this restaurant, owner is always there and runs a tight ship. Staff is excellent!
