Had dinner last night. Overall disappointing experience. Our waitress just didn't seem to want to be there. As soon as you came over to our table the thing she said was are you ready now to order. No hello or welcome or anything. Never...smile always look angry . Meals only average to be honest. Thai dim sims cold. After we had finished our meal we ask for dessert menu. All our plates from dinner remind were not cleared away. We were given the dessert menu. Our waitress then just disappear for about minutes. Nobody came to clear the table or take our dessert order so we just left. Had a lovely dessert at Max Brenner instead. Not a place I will be returning to or recommending.
Food was lovely. Atmosphere a little noisy but pleasant for a family group. We had money bags, sate sticks and spring rolls for starters and massaman beef, chicken pad Thai, yellow curry for main. We ordered cocktails and a bottle of wine but we were...unable to order a second round of cocktails due to staffing issues. No issues with the service though. All in all a nice night.
Was recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The theming and ambiance I thought I was back in Thailand. From the heavy wooden elephant themed seats to the presentation of all the dishes, it was superb from start to finish. We have already re-booked...for October I took a bottle of red wine, per person corkage.
changmai thai is a beautiful Thai restaurant at the base of mantra crown towers. the location is perfect when you stay at the hotel. the menu is great, there is much to choose and the service is amazing. you don't have to wait long to be served or eat out in busy nights and we didn't have to book that was good.

We are staying at the crown towers where this restaurant is located. We walked passed it after a swim and the smell was so delicious. The food was delicious and a big serving. The accommodated our requests with a smile and really friendly. Highly recommend

hands down the best Thai food I have eaten in Australia. make sure to order the green chicken curry. reasonable, too.
