The restaurant's design was stunning, having transformed from a residential home into a lovely dining space—it was quite impressive! I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness for the neighboring house, which was still a private residence and was on the market. It seemed a bit out of place among all the new eateries. After sitting down, it did take about 25-30 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. When our server finally arrived, my husband had to flag him down, and the server made a remark that my husband was unforgettable, which made me wonder if he was trying to flirt with him or just joke around to lighten the mood. Either way, it felt a bit uncomfortable, but it didn't bother...
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I brought along my two grandchildren. I had heard good things about this place, so we decided to give it a try. I called ahead to ask about a reservation, but they informed me that they don't take reservations. To our surprise, we had to wait a bit as they scrambled to find a table for us, even though there seemed to be a steady flow of incoming customers. Our waitress, Jessica, was very nice and made some great recommendations while frequently checking in on us. The food was fantastic—all the sushi was expertly prepared and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but making a reservation would be a wise idea.

The cocktails were fun and unique, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Having lived in LA and frequently visiting San Francisco, I've tried sushi all over—from Maryland to Florida, California to South Dakota. The quality of the sushi here was exceptional, especially considering how far we are from the ocean. What truly amazed me was the creativity and originality of the sushi; it was delicious beyond compare. The cherry on top was having a lovely conversation with the owner after closing. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting this fantastic business!
We tried several dishes: poke nachos, an oyster shooter, tempura pumpkin bread pudding, salmon sashimi, salmon nigiri, yellowtail sashimi, the Aloha roll, and the Satsuma strawberry roll. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. As sushi lovers, we can confidently say this is some of the best sushi we’ve ever had! We will definitely be returning!
Luckily for us locals in a town full of fast food we have some restaurants like this. Great sushi, Owner is usually there and really cares about quality and making strong drinks. Highly recommend. We absolutely loved the nachos! Everything was delicious, and the service was outstanding. My daughter, who is usually quite a picky eater, really enjoyed the Chicken Teriyaki. The owner was incredibly friendly and made every effort to ensure we had a great experience. What a wonderful discovery in our joyful city!
