I grew up going to wishbone all the time, they had the absolute best roasted chicken I have ever had in my life, I have tried very hard to find broasted chicken that came close to this, I will say since we moved back I've only ordered Chicken Coop maybe four or five times in less than 2 weeks, absolutely phenomenal, love the owner's old school attitude, it is cash only so deal with that as it is, highly recommend you try the broasted chicken in the mashed potatoes and coleslaw, can't wait till he gets onion rings back in stock and to try those. I called just before 1 PM during the busy lunchtime rush to pick up a chicken breast for a light meal. The person on the phone responded, "Are you really asking me to operate a $15,000 machine just for one chicken breast?" Yes, I did expect to be able to order a chicken breast, especially since it's on the menu. If he weren't so difficult—and I could use stronger language—perhaps he would get enough orders to serve local customers looking for a quick lunch away from corporate chains. I cannot recommend this place at all and will not be returning, primarily due to his rude and unfriendly demeanor. His behavior has always been unpleasant, but this time it was exceptionally unprofessional.
I stopped by for a piece of chicken during my lunch break, but the staff member turned me away, saying he was too busy. Ironically, he was just standing around doing nothing. He even commented unfavorably on a Jesus plate I had on my car. Overall, he was extremely rude, and I don’t think he deserves any customers.

Guy that runs the shop was friendly and customer service oriented. I hate to say this, but the food just wasn't that good. It wasn't absolutely terrible, but even by fast casual standards it lacked.
The owner quit. Was going to order some chicken today. Bummer. We sure will miss having your broasted chicken dinners. I had your butterfly/jumbo shrimp once. It was good. Anyways, best of blessings
The chicken from the coop is incredible. The ranch is legendary, and so is the owner. There’s no time for nonsense or credit cards here. He’s the hardest-working chicken king in the business!
Sad to see this business closed. Chicken was WAY BETTER than KFC, Popeyes, and Chicken Shack. Loved ordering big orders for parties. I wish he'd just moved somewhere else to continue buying.

Best Broasted Chicken and Chicken Strips around, the Broasted Potatoes are also awesome. The Owner is a cool Guy, his personality is great and he appreciates your business.
Chicken is better than KFC. The homemade ranch is on point. Been going here for many years. Love it! Only downside is that it's cash only so hit up the ATM on your way
