If you want a delicious, succulent chicken and perfectly cooked & well-seasoned chunky chips, this is the place. There is a reason why this place is an Eastern suburbs institution with friendly service and quality food on offer. Family pack #1 is my favourite, including a whole chicken, chips delicious gravy, a salad and a 1.25L drink. I've moved across town and still drive there for the occasional treat. Try it, you won't be sorry :) Note that if you're going to pick up dinner, they close around 8pm so it's best to get there earlier as they do run out of chickens!
I didn't find the food at this restaurant very tasty. The skin was too salty and the meat was overcooked. Even my children, who usually eat anything, wouldn't touch it. I recommend going to Golden Chicken on Portrush Road instead, where the service is friendlier and the food is more delicious.

This is probably the friendliest takeaway restaurant in the eastern area of Adelaide. The food is delicious and the service is even better. The staff are very generous, often adding extra chips and sometimes an additional piece of fish or chicken.
This store and their store in Norwood are great. Fantastic chicken and a huge range of other take away usuals! The salads are fresh and the best I have had. Their European Coleslaw is my favourite. The staff are brilliant and so friendly.
