The staff were incredibly welcoming, just as I've found at other Chick-fil-A locations. One staff member even offered to keep my suitcase behind the counter while I enjoyed my meal, which was very thoughtful of them! The restaurant itself is huge and recently renovated, featuring an outdoor playground for kids and plenty of seating. Half of the space is set up diner-style (with no takeout), while the other half operates as a regular Chick-fil-A. There's also a large parking lot and restrooms available on-site, along with merchandise and a separate pie shop. I absolutely love Chick-fil-A, so I had to visit the location where it all began. This restaurant is a Dwarf House, which means it offers an expanded menu and table service. Naturally, we wanted to try items that aren’t available at our local spot, so we ordered the skillet, a hot brown, chicken salad, fried okra, and icebox pies. Wow, everything was delicious! The service was a bit slower than we expected, but it’s the South, so that’s to be anticipated. I will definitely be returning!
If you love chick fil a then you have to go to the Dwarf House to go where the Chicken Sandwich was invented. The history is fun to see and you can choose to go to a normal chick fil a you are used to or go to the sit down section. The sit down section has the same menu items for a higher price than normal with some exclusive items you can only get there. Our server was not the best so the whole meal wasn’t great but would definitely go back again.
I usually come to this place when I want Chick-fil-A. I'm really hungry and stopped by to grab a bite. I always order my fries without salt because I watch my sodium intake. However, I was told they no longer allow you to order your fries without salt. The manager in the drive-thru said that the owner decided to stop this option at this location two weeks ago. I left without ordering. The staff were kind, but I left without ordering.
An Atlanta icon, Chick-fil-A offers a unique sit-down dining experience at the original Dwarf House! Here, you can still enjoy classic dishes like chicken salad sandwiches, grilled melts, okra, and sprouts. It's a must-visit for Chick-fil-A fans!
The location is very busy, and the remodel is stunning. I only had one negative experience last week in the mobile pickup area with an associate who was not friendly. Overall, I would rate the service a 4.
I always have a great experience at the Hapeville location. The staff is friendly, and the food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
It's worth a visit at least just once. It's still chic fila. The services are great. And it's for sure fast food still.
