During my recent order at Chili’s Grill, I immediately called to request a customization since the app doesn’t allow for it. To my surprise, they told me my order was already completed, even though I had just placed it seconds before. I tried to explain that it couldn’t have been finished so quickly, but the person abruptly hung up on me. When I called back, they answered and then hung up again. On my third try, they simply didn’t answer.
This was the first time I experienced such issues with them. Eventually, my mom called to check on the order, and a man said it had been picked up. However, the DoorDash app still showed it as being prepared, and no driver was assigned yet. It seemed like...
For our appetizer, we enjoyed the bottomless chips with salsa. The chips were quite good and seemed freshly fried, but the salsa, while flavorful, lacked any heat. My wife liked that it was puréed since she prefers no chunks of onions or peppers. Unfortunately, the fries that accompanied our burgers were disappointing—they were cold, which was a major letdown. Everyone expects hot, crispy fries with their burger, but that wasn’t the case here. On the bright side, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Would I come back? Maybe.
I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The cocktails were excessively sweet and not enjoyable at all. The nacho appetizer was bland and unappetizing. I couldn't even finish my entrée because the chicken was overcooked and the vegetables were still raw, and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes longer than my dining companions for my meal. The staff was unprofessional and showed a lack of consideration. I won’t be returning to this location again. It seems that Chili's has really lost its touch.
I’m not sure why I don’t visit this place more often. The food is consistently amazing, and I appreciate that it’s usually not too crowded. The service is typically excellent too. My favorites are definitely the southwestern eggrolls and the original chicken fingers with honey mustard. And I have to say, their corn is absolutely outstanding!
