I was so pleased with this cute little place! First of all, I called to place an order and the friendliest lady picked up! She didn’t rush me at all and told me exactly how long it would take. Second of all, when I walked in, it was so inviting and cozy inside! Then I met the lady who I talked to on the phone and she was busy so another lady helped me and she was also super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed! I am from out of the area but definitely want to come back to dine in sometime! Third of all, the food was amazing and packaged well. By the time I got to my hotel, everything was still piping hot. Definitely overrated. We went to China Cafe just to try a new place. My first impression was the very filthy carpet but the tables and chairs appeared clean so we proceeded. The initial service for seating was good but after that the two girls at the hostess desk who had clear view of the whole seating area were too engaged in their own conversation and the one girl fiddling with her hairto notice we needed water refills. Wow we have been missing out! The food was exceptional. We started with the spicy edamame which was outstanding. For our meals we had the Five Pepper Chicken and Kung PowTrio. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Large portions too we both had plenty for lunch the next day. We had the pleasure of meeting Suzanne the Owner and shared stories of restaurants we love. Every staff member was gracious and gave all patrons lots of attention. We cannot wait to return. I wish my pics turned out better lighting was low which is date night approved.
This place is consistently delivering high quality dishes with great service. The chicken lettuce wraps are a must try. You won’t be disappointed. Go early it’s always busy for good reason.
