Finally, this popular place tried during the restaurant week. Live atmosphere with friendly bar staff while waiting for my friend to join. we sat right away when we were ready and served water. the waiter was able to explain details of the menu options, but was rude and impatient with our asking. the four-course menu week offered fantastic options. I started to knödeln with the fried, then I had a raw flat plate. both were great. the tasteful sauces were the best I had. the salmon was extremely high quality. Whatever was happening in the area created a huge backup...there were probably close to 20 people in front of hostess stand all of us with reservations and most parties waiting at least 30 minutes past our reserved time slots. Fortunately the staff did everything they could and were very courteous under enormous pressure. A free drink would have been nice. When we were finally seated, our waiter was great a sweetie and the team was very fast with the food! And food, as usual, was excellent.
The service was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was very good. I thought the ají de gallina and ceviche clasico were excellent, the tam tam pretty good and and the sánguche de chancho were just so-so. I was a little disappointed with the signature Chilcano cocktail, which I think needed more lime and more ginger-y flavor. Maybe next time I'll add some ginger Macerado.

we made a reservation here and it was great. our waitress was excellent, eating was amazing and the drinks too. I would definitely come back.
The food was great, the service left much to be desired. The lady that was our waitress/server had a bad attitude and was not very pleasant.
Once again China Chilcano hit it out of the park particularly their happy hour really great price and really good food!
