This is my favorite restaurant in town and probably one of my favorite restaurants in town. The food is fantastic and the staff is sooo friendly. You also have a wide selection of fantastic vegetarian options. And if that's not enough, it's also very affordable! ~20 per person will bring you dinner and rests for another meal at home. (Chinese food gets even better than remnants! But don't wait too long) My habits are the veg kung pow, sweet and sour chicken, and spicy garlic broccoli! But we turn off every time we visit only for some variations. Can't suggest this place hard enough!
i ordered the Best Chow Mein I 've had This year. Hands Down- the 'chicken ' In the Chow Mien was so supple wonderful service: my Ba forgot Rice for the Tofu dish, and the Hostess Noticed this, that Tofu obvi goes best w plain rice and just threw in a togo order very nice and Super observant. a beautiful Inside if you choose to eat out... thank you so much again for being nice Abt the rice
GOOD FOOD BUT SMALL PORTIONS. Maybe I've been spoiled by the other local Chinese spots in the area but these portion size are not what I was expecting. Mixed veggies tasted fresh. Rice tasted like rice. Kung Pao sauce could have been a bit spicer but thats why they have the chili oil on the table. Overall good experience, just small portions.
It took 10 minutes to get seated even though there were only people at 2 other tables, the food took a long time to get to us, was served separately taking longer still for the second plate, and there were spots on the table cloth and the tea pot. this is their classic family style Chinese restaurant, which is the absolute best to order the takeout of. everything I ordered was always very good – we really like the fried rice here! the interior is seemingly clean and the whole food seems to be well prepared.
I was within walking distance of The Westin San Jose State! This Mom and Pop restaurant served amazing Chinese food! The Walnut Shrimp, Fried Rice, and Hot Sour Soup were all fantastic. We were on a college tour of SJSU with our son and he loved it all!
Absolutely delicious! I love the black pepper beef, Beijing ribs, chicken with spicy beans. There's a reason why they've been in operation for over 30 years. That's how long we're there. John Jenny are both so friendly.
