I came to this restaurant by chance for a quick lunch and it has a lot of dumpling choices. Also the dumpling and noodles are freshly made in the restaurant where you can see the ladies doing their work. So, unlike some dumpling restaurants which may used either frozen dumplings or factory made dumplings. There are a lot of choices in dumplings and noodles, so if you enjoy a variety of dumplings,either steamed or pan fried, this is the place. Arriving at 'Chinese Dumpling House', a very popular eatery inside Commerce Gate, especially amongst the younger Chinese populous. We noticed all 15 tables were occupied, with waiting patrons spilling onto the pavement outside. Usually a pretty good sign and reflection of the food quality offered by the establishment inside? But, man! Was I wrong this time?!The dinner we had was one of the most unenjoyable and nasty meal I had for a long, long time. Dishes, best described as ' disastous' arriving one after the other. How I wish the punishment would end early and I can pay my bill and leave!So glad I have a Sara Lee Pound Cake I can fall back to, when I got home!

I'm not sure what dishes were ordered since my parents made the choices. I just sat back and enjoyed the meal. The restaurant had a small space, but they made it cozy with marble tables and Chinese-style chairs. The walkway was a bit cramped, but they offered tea and a variety of sauces like vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil to suit your preferences.
To start, the homemade dumplings are excellent. Who can resist homemade dumplings? Additionally, they offer other menu items that are favorites such as braised eggplant, Chinese pancakes with meat, pork strips, and many more. And the best part is that it's affordable! This place is a must-visit.
The dumplings are a must-try at this restaurant. I have yet to sample their other menu items. My order of chicken dumplings took 25 minutes to arrive, but it was a busy lunch hour so I understand the delay. Tip: The service is even better when the staff serves with a smile.

Used to be good restaurant. Just visit it recently,the same dish tastes lots worse than before:friends with me have the same feeling . Won't go again.
