I placed a small order at 6pm on a Monday, which is not typically a busy time for takeout orders. I was told it would take 45 minutes for my order to arrive, which is a standard wait time. However, after an hour and 20 minutes had passed, I still had not received my order. I called Hungry House, the company I had placed my order through, and was told that my order would be with me in 10 minutes. Another 30 minutes went by and my order still hadn't arrived. After calling a second time, I was connected to the restaurant who claimed they had no information on the whereabouts of my order, as it had left their establishment 35 minutes earlier. I had to call Hungry House again to request a refund,...
Love the food, but the that's not what influenced my rating. We've ordered from this place twice, and enjoyed the food each time. However, with the second time, the delivery driver told us that we were out of their delivery range (we weren't) so would have to pay for delivery on arrival. We were told that they want to keep their customers happy, but only those within their delivery range...... this obviously put me in a bad mood before it was even delivered... I told the driver on the phone that I'd gone onto Google maps and we weren't as far as he thought, but he insisted we were too far away. Once he arrived, he handed over the food, said enjoy and left.......
I called to place an order and the woman on the phone seemed rushed and impatient. An hour later, she called me back to inform me that my order had been lost and asked me to repeat it. When I called back 40 minutes later, she yelled at me to wait 15 minutes. The food finally arrived, but they had sent me a meat rice instead of the mushroom dish I had ordered, which was a problem as I am a vegetarian. When I called the woman back to address the mistake, she brushed me off, claiming she was too busy to talk. Not only was the service terrible, but the food was also unpleasant. I would not recommend calling this restaurant.
I needed the first time yesterday. the food comes in very generous portions and was delicious. I prefer my garden toast on thinner brot and with chopped water chestnut, but it was still good. the fried seaweed had dried scallops that I love; not all takeaways add the scallops. the duck in a plumen sauce was also good, although I will try the duck next time. I found the service very good and the woman behind the theke was beautiful, very friendly and helpful; she found a few of the sticks for me, more beautiful than the usual throw away and opened the door (I am disabled). I had no chinese eating for well over three years, especially because I had a little addicted to eat it quite a little, and I had to get fit and watch what I ate to stay healthy. the meal from this inconveniently taking restaurant was very nice and tasty. I will order from them in the near future. the food was very delicious and I enjoyed it enormously.

We order from this Chinese restaurant every Saturday night and have never had a bad experience. The delivery is quick if ordered before 6pm, but it can take a little longer after that. The food has always been good.
