We just happened to be in the area travelling from Hastings. We found this amazing chip shop. It was very busy which is always a good sign. The chips were the best I have had in years, I mean truly the BEST. None of this double or triple cooked stuff. Just plain old single cooked chips. I need this place in Hastings so I can enjoy good old fish and chips more often!
Finished 6 12hr shifts at Medway maritime hospital.... 2 large cod and chips &curry sauce). It took 10 mins to order... Then wait.. and wait... Friday night rush hour... Nothing ready. After 20 minutes more, I gave up and went home....
The staff is lovely, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the restaurant is clean and well-presented. Without a doubt, the best fish and chip shop in the area.

The food is excellent with generous portions. We make it a point to visit this restaurant every time we are nearby. We absolutely love it! The staff is also very friendly.
This is our regular. Always greeted with a friendly welcome. Quick service (I tend to phone order through). Food is very good quality. Nice batter!
