I had the most lovely experience eating here a few days ago while passing through on a road trip it was hot out so it was not busy, and Stefanie (the owner) allowed me to bring my small dog up on corner of the patio (even though she initially said they couldn't let me have a dog). I would have had to go elsewhere if not, because I couldn't leave her in the car in the heat, so I was very thankful and glad to be able to have some delicious fish and chips!Stefanie was super friendly and helpful, even brought my dog some water, let me hang out and use the wifi, and even gave me a popsicle and a drink (and the last piece of key lime pie) to cool down! The new owner is lovely and the fish and chips here are some of the best I've had in Canada. As a British expat who has been living here for 11 years, I can attest to the authenticity of the dish. My family and I recently returned to the restaurant and we were wondering if they also serve mushy peas.
The service was excellent and the fish and chips were perfect. It had been almost 2 years since I last had fish and chips in Australia, and this place completely satisfied my craving. I highly recommend trying the haddock.
