Please note: this review is for the Skokie location, not edgebrook.Very disappointed in this shop. Ice cream was average. Not bad, not amazing but satisfactory. However, they charged MORE than a high quality chicago ice cream shop and gave the smallest scoops I’ve ever had.Save your money and go to Jeni’s ice cream or Capannari for great ice cream. You will pay less and get way more. For heaven sake, you’re better off going to Dairy Queen or Culver’s. All are a better deal and better ice cream.
There is something so tasty about Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. The flavors are fun, there are many to choose. I was always greeted and treated like an estimated customer, and there is a seating area to enjoy your ice cream both inside and outside.
We love the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream parlor. They always have non-dairy options and let you try flavors until you find the one you like. Also, they make the best custom ice cream birthday cakes.
