I usually don't rate 5 stars unless something really stood out. I did so today because I just had a humbling experience I'd like to share. It's about 2 o'clock and I walked in while the staff was having lunch. Fast forward... I watched as one of the kitchen workers was leaving. She and the other staff members seemed to have a bit of a language barier, yet she was greeted by everyone so genuinely that it made me want to work there. I also realize that I, too, was treated like they wanted me there, not only as a one and done customer. The food was not a 5, but still one of the best Korean food I've had. Ate lunch there today and was very happy with my experience. The service was extremley friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food came out rather quickly and was delicious. my only two minor complaints are that the rice/soondubu seemed to be missing salt. that could be a personal preference. I also felt like I spent too much for one person. I got the combo, on the menu it said 26.99 and my bill said 28.99, I didnt mind, but after tax/tips etc. my bill was 38 dollars. For 1 person that seems too much. value was a 4/5, service 5/5, and food 4/5. I will be back
I've had multiple circles of international friends all independently locate and tout this restaurant's quality and authenticity. I've been a repeat customer for decades. I am recognized at the door, greeted with a giant smile, and treated like an esteemed guest. My only gripe is the recent addition of fees for to-go containers. I'm a weekly customer and always tip 20%, just give me a styrofoam container without making me feel nickel-and-dimed.
I love this place, and I've been coming here for the last 12+ years!! The staff is so sweet, and accommodating! I just wish I remembered more Korean so I could be a better patron! My favorite is the vegetable dumpling soup, extra spicy. It's worth noting the spice level is liable to vary a great deal from visit to visit.
Been coming here for a few years and it 's perfect every time. The staff is also incredibly friendly. Just be warned that even the regular level of spiciness for the soup is quite spicy by American standards.
Authentic, great service, amazing food at good prices! Highly recommend checking out this gem for your Korean fix! They have unique dishes I haven’t seen at other Korean restaurants.
Simply amazing! The restaurant is super clean. The tofu soup is up to the par! The portion was perfect as well for a reasonable price. I will definitely come back!!!
Good is great and prices are fair. Got two soups to-go and the side dishes and the way everything was wrapped was perfect.
