The food was pretty good, the service was average. The seating of guests seemed more about convenience for the servers. Most people were seated in the half booth half chair sections. This gave little to no privacy for couples on a getaway or dinner date. These seating arrangements were akin to a fancy food court. There were plenty of open tables where guests could have been spaced out for a more intimate environment or even just a private conversation without talking over the next table. The price of the entrees did not match the dining experience. A private booth at typical chain restaurant offers more privacy and a better vibe.
I chose to have dinner alone at this restaurant tonight and even brought $200 in winnings from Akchin with me. Since my points covered the meal, I asked the waitress to change a $100 bill so I could leave her a tip. Instead, she took the bill to the manager, who insisted it looked counterfeit and took it to the cashier for verification. I found this incredibly offensive—it's money I won at your casino! This whole situation feels absurd, and I can't shake the feeling that I'm being singled out. I can't help but wonder if my $100 would have raised any concerns if I had a different skin tone... just saying.
Every time we're in town, we make sure to eat at this restaurant. Everything we've ordered from the menu has been delicious on every visit. This time, we tried the onion soup, which was absolutely fantastic. We also ordered the seafood pasta, a bone-in ribeye with a lobster tail added, and a side of grilled asparagus. My dad had the prime rib dinner with a baked potato. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the seafood was outstanding.
I visited this restaurant when it first opened years ago and wasn't impressed. However, I've been back twice in the last two weeks. They serve the best lobster bisque soup I've ever had. The bartender also makes an outstanding grand old fashioned. While the chicken wings were just okay, the steaks and lamb chops looked fantastic. Additionally, there's plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot. I highly recommend this place!

I rated the food a perfect 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Hangar Steak.
