Chop Steakhouse Vaughan

we were very disappointed to see the CHOP advertising instead of the beautiful firebox table. we demanded a stand at first and when we mentioned that we are advised that the stands are reserved, although we saw at least 3 free stands that were absolutely empty throughout our visit. we were advised that we are near the fire pit table, as desired, the only one was that it was not a fire! on the other side of the passage additional tabs were added. this place has lost its charm, looks like we have to find another, sad. the food was good.

Chops is a go-to place for us when there is a special occasion. No problem getting a table for New Year's Eve. Sandro, our server, was attentive and kept us informed about when the food would be arriving. I had steak Oscar and my steak was cooked to perfection, while my wife had the dinner salad with chicken. We shared veggie tempura, which was tasty. We left very satisfied and we will continue to patronize Chop.

server was fantastic! eating was cold, music was much too loud (also for ny eve,) it is a restaurant after all! don't think I would return to this place. too much for the quality of the meal.

the food was great, the price was moderate. better value than the keg. the service was slow, but it was nye.

Service was great. Server could've been a little more available. Ribeye was disappointing.
