This is hard to describe, because not all Chinese places in my experience had a "banquet "option like they do here. It’s simply 3 courses, plus soup, especially in a large party at your table. [4-6]. Highly recommend this. Make a reservation for this, they give you 2plus hours at the table. But the food was great, every course from the soup. Btw, you choose the banquet you prefer. service was great, people friendly, and I didn’t find any unattended children as I read on this site, and while busy, we were well cared for, and food was simply excellent. Not cheap per person, but it will be a special night and worth it. You can also just order your favorite dishes without the banquet.
As a last minute booking the helpful team at Chows weren’t able to offer a table in the main restaurant, but they suggested Chows Meeting House as an alternative. The Meeting House proved to be a great substitute with tasteful décor and booth style seating which was perfect for our group as we were able to have our own space chatting freely without disrupting fellow diners. Whilst the Meeting House menu doesn’t offer the full variety as the main restaurant we were still spoilt for choice with great tasting mixed starters, dim sum and an extensive veggie selection too. As usual the staff were faultless and the food was fabulous. If you haven’t been before it’s simply a must.
I haven't dined out at a restaurant since the lockdown, but last night I picked up a meal for my parents, husband, and myself. I called ahead to pay, and the meal was ready for pickup at the scheduled time. The restaurant followed all safety protocols for social distancing. We all enjoyed a fantastic meal, and my Mum just told me they thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was the perfect 'lockdown' Thursday night in.
Wow what a fantastic find! All your favourite starters in a set menu, plenty to eat and the quality of the food is fabulous. Tina was our host and what a very lovely lady, really looked after us. We love Mr. Chows Eating House and were keen to experience dim sum at the relatively new Mr Chows Meeting House (aka Champagne Bar). We were not disappointed, the food is superb, tasty, fresh, piping hot, great variety of dishes, service is excellent, great atmosphere. Puts London equivalents to shame! Essential to book in advance!
we went to parkgate for fish and chips but we went too late and it was shut so one of our party wanted food and NOW!!! so she chose this restaurant which was open, It was a truly excellent meal, though it was slightly more than fish and chips in cost it was excellent quality and well worth the cost. Will definitely go again.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. However, it is on the pricier side so it's not a place we can afford to visit every week or two. The view over the River Dee to the Welsh hills is stunning, especially if you are lucky enough to snag a table by the window.
Luckily we were turned down from many restaurants as we had not made a booking. We ended up eating here and were made to feel more than welcome. The staff were amazing and couldn't do more for you. Food was brilliant and it was a speedy service.

We visited Chows for the second time on Chinese New Year and it was just as fantastic as our first visit. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the entertainment was great. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Always great food and service. Every visit is a delight and the staff are so helpful and happy. Always do the banquets as we go as a large group and yet never seem to wait to be served.
