Grew up as a customer of the previous owners and hailed their chips as the best in Adelaide. These new owners however, are just terrible. Their chips are barely passable oversized garbage, barely even coming close the what it was. The schnitzel pack now requires...assembly, the roast potatoes in the pack were under-cooked, and in the end it looked like a glorified TV meal. On top of that, some parts were just crumbs, not even containing meat). Their chicken was the only thing reasonable, but was smaller than what we get from the previous owners. The new owners have just re named the shop Christies Seafood and Grill not only is the shop spotless the staff are friendly.We decided to share a prawn pack for lunch and had the best prawns ever!!! They were Large crisp crumbs succulent and tasty ...cooked to perfection with crispy chips to match plenty of tartare sauce and served in a cardboard tray in a bag so everything didn't go soggy (i would have liked some lemon wedges but an excellent well presented tasty lunch,yes we too loved the previous owners but changes can be for the better .Well done and keep up the good work.
Just had another meal from this takeaway shop, the butterfish pack, was absolutely perfectly cooked, 2 pieces of fish, perfect chips, tartar sauce.This place is a must eat from shop, the ladies and guy working were friendly and very helpful. The shop is the most spotlessly clean food store i have ever seen, this time we sat at their inside tables.If your in the area or driving past call in, I'm sure you wont be disappointed.Good takeaway is a rare thing these days.I live in Nth Adelaide, if only i could find a shop like this in the city.
Visited again just recently to see if the new owners are still keeping up the good work and I wasn’t disappointed. They now run and the the banner of Christie’s Seafood and Grill and the food was for take away standards exceptional. Chips were on...song and the steak sandwich was to die for soooo tender

Read the reviews and decided to try this place in the middle of the heatwave. My partner had the seafood pack and said the prawns, calamari and chips were great. I had a burger homemade patty and a great burger. I also loved the...chips. They deserve their reputation.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic! The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and it's the perfect place to grab a meal and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beach. Highly recommend!
The service was quick, even though the restaurant was busy. The fish was delicious, especially the butterfish. The chips were good as well. I enjoyed my meal while watching the sunset by the beach.

The food is great and offers excellent bang for your buck. Dining here is affordable and we highly recommend trying the burgers.
