I had heard the hype about the pork tenderloin and it did not disappoint. I love the down home setting with tributes to first responders. They had low and high tables and 'sit where you like '. We were warmly greeted quickly by an individual who cleaned our table as we sat down, told us the specials and our waitress followed with menus. We had the jalapeno poppers for an appetizer. Two of our group had the Cheeseburger special and two of us split the pork tenderloin with an extra bun and toppings when we split it, it was still bigger than the large buns! Definitely filling. Everything was absolutely delicious. It 's a drive for us but definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place.
First timers here Our server was excellent!!! She was so engaging and helpful. My wife got the Philly. She wasn't impressed. I got the TENDERLOIN. It was STUPENDOUS. Huge, tender, moist and glorious. It was so very good. The battered fries were also very good The chairs were TERRIBLE They hurt our backs. Please get some better seating Cristine's... PLEASE I give the place 8.5 out of ten.
The barstool seating is not very comfortable and may not be suitable for older customers. The tenderloin breading lacked flavor and spice. The Red Gold ketchup also did not seem to be a popular choice, as there are significantly more bottles of Heinz ketchup sold on Amazon. The presence of Red Gold ketchup alone would deter me from returning to this restaurant.
Well as much as I hate to say I will never spend another dime there ordered tenderloin and a side of onion rings. Worst I ever had tenderloin was undercooked they charged me 4.50 for 4 onion rings they would not give me my money back so to eat dinner I had to go somewhere else terrible experience
Best place around. The famous tenderloin was amazing. First time here and I'll definitely be back. Amber K was an amazing waitress. She took care of us and made sure we was very welcome. Definitely will be back
Stopped in for lunch on Friday. Chicken parm sandwich with beer battered French fries. The fries were ok, and the sandwich was good but was light on the sauce. Service was good, and for $9.50, it wasn't bad.
Used to be one of my favorites. The friendly staff and great food have definitely left the building. Sad.
Best little bar in NKC. Live music Thursday Sunday. Good food with low prices.
