We go to Chuck 's Roadhouse for AAA steak. It is a steakhouse more than anything else, also Roadhouse means it is open, noise level is of course simply like a roadhouse. If someone wants quiet, quaint service.............you pay double, for that. Up to you, what...you choose. Use your common sense. I have been to Chucks in Belleville over 7 times, each time their AAA steak is tender, cooked to our medium rare or medium request, not a lot of excess sides, as the point is to enjoy a delicious steak without feeling bloated from excess sides. This really is a steak house............like other family members have done.......who goes to a steak house and orders chicken, or spaghetti or things that...
My wife and I were in Belleville recently around lunch time and decided to give Chuck's a try. Even though it was right in the middle of the lunch period we were seated immediately and our server, Jesse, was there a few moments later. We had our drink order in no time and placed our order. My wife chose the sirloin burger while I opted for a Cajun chicken sandwich. Both meals were served piping hot and were delicious. When we received our check I thought they had made a mistake. No mistake. The prices here are fantastic. I wish them well and when we travel to the big city of Belleville from Napanee we will definitely dine at Chuck"s
fear. burning dry chicken, small part of soggy frozen fries and dry chews overtake ribs. they also cut their ripp into half length to give a tiny narrow rippchen. buyers are aware. the server forgot to dance in my ribs, so they were 20 minutes later than the rest of the meal. they have at least compiled my bun and my ribs. Woman ordered afteros, they had no salsa besides and we are almost completely covered in a deck of acid cream, most of the chips unstoppable soggy. plus 4 dollars for extra cash and there was no one present. $50 very much not well spent. at least the potato skins were okay.
We usually enjoy Chucks for their steaks, but decided to try something different. Unfortunately, the hamburger we ordered was terrible, with a stale and inedible bun. The chicken was dry and chewy, leading me to believe it was leftover from the night before and topped with sauce. The ribs were incredibly fatty and gristly. To top it off, the fries were served cold. While we appreciate their steaks, we will not be ordering anything else from their menu in the future. We only dine out once a month, so this meal was meant to be a treat, but it was a major disappointment.
Sometimes you just feel like going to a casual restaurant and my friend and I used to visit Chuck's. We had dinner tonight and it was awful. My friend ordered the salmon and it was raw, which can happen at a casual restaurant, not a Michelin-starred one. But what really ruined our experience was the passive-aggressive and misogynistic treatment from the floor manager. We will never be returning. His management skills were lacking and his behavior was disgraceful.
my mother and my wife both had the sirloin steak with fully loaded kartoffels and a piece of mais. I had the peppercorn steak with the same side. my mom was too full for the gloomy, but my wife and I shared the clondike...Cake service by gina was excellent and one of the owners vinay came by to check us. I've been there 5 times. eating consistently great and service was also great.
my wife and I went to chucks restaurant, belleville to celebrate our 44-year-old insist. we were served by jodi and she was great. we both ordered the surfing tower, steaks were cooked to our vinegar and lobster tails were good. I would recommend that...restaurant and the surf-tour. we've been there before and all the meals were good. will definitely be good before our 45.
Well not my idea to go there. But thought another try would be the right thing to do. Not! The nachos were mushy, the battered shrimp was under cooked and the other appetizers were just as bad. To top it all off the beer was...flat! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Cheers.
just noticed the honest to goodness fee on my receipt, unfortunately. I would have deducted that from the tip I will next time. Food is mediocre at the best of times and this fee is designed to keep menu prices lower isn't that...trickery? Maybe it is best to dine elsewhere.
