A very mixed review… I took my wife here for her birthday and had our baby girl with us too.. I’ll start with the positive, which was the the food, which was very good (for the most part).. The Arancini balls were delicious, some of the best we’ve ever had. Calamari was soft with a very nice thin layer of batter. The chilli spanner crab pasta was nice and al dente with a decent amount of meat but the dish was supposed to be CHILLI spanner crab and it had absolutely no spice to it whatsoever. And then there’s the pizza, it was fantastic, just how wood fired pizza should be.. thin, pillowy soft and chewy base with a great amount of topping unlike many other wood fired pizza places. they enter ciao cielo, they are venerated with the large institution. it is beautiful in the inner and perhaps was an old little church or something. it is original and pretty and not too loud, which is always a great help when I made the conversation, I found the menu a little limiting. there is not a large selection of objects, but we have opened and buried our thoughts. some of the entrees were really big, and some tiny and priced design doesn't always reflect on the order. the netzen began to come out forever, and tables that were ordered after us got their first, and finally, when someone to offer a declaration, there were two different answers (which always let me make them forget one...
A big thank you to all the staff at Ciao Cielo for making my daughter's special surprise 18th birthday a most pleasurable one. The girls enjoyed the night and loved the food. Looking forward to booking again soon.

The food and service were great at Ciao Cielo, and the decor beautiful. However, the loud music detracted from our experience it was so loud at times that we couldn't hear one another talk.
The food was great we always have the goat. The staff had all changed but it was still good service. Noisy as there was a Hen's night in a private room but that was unusual
Ciao Cielo was wonderful and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. My favourite Italian cuisine in Port Melbourne !
