On my recent visit, I started with a delicious soup, followed by their Bayern Winter Storage sauce and Fettuccine Alla Rustica—my favorite pasta in Missoula. It features shellfish and shrimp in a rich Pecorino Romano white sauce, garnished with heaps of prosciutto. For dessert, I savored the zeppoles, served with chocolate, huckleberry, and caramel. It was freezing outside, but this meal made me feel warm and alive. I highly recommend Ciao Mambo to anyone in Missoula. If you give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. I can't remember our server's name, but she was really kind. The entire staff was attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome. They provide crayons for drawing on the table, and the artwork is later displayed on the ceiling, which my daughter loved! We chose this restaurant because it's my niece's favorite place, and her top pick is the spaghetti and meatballs. I'm so glad we had the chance to experience this spot. Plus, the music was fantastic too!

Had tried this a couple times during the pandemic as to-go orders and it was good, but always just slightly off. It's really food and atmosphere you need to dine in for fresh. While I wish the hours were extended, it does make you feel like you're part of a fun and lively experience and builds up some exclusivity (in a positive way) to Ciao. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I can’t recall our server's name, but she was very friendly. Everyone was attentive and made us feel very welcome. They even provided crayons for us to create art on the table, which my daughter absolutely loved. We came here because it's my niece's favorite restaurant, and her preferred dish is the spaghetti and meatballs! This place truly deserves the praise it gets. Oh, and the music was fantastic!
First time here. Thought it was a great restaurant. The taste was not bad but I’m not sure if the food was edible. Got so upset cuz I found issues with both the pasta and the side. The green vegetables in the pasta were too old, and I don’t think I could digest them. One of the six shrimps in the side contained a lot of sands, and another contained slight amount of sands too. Have no idea how the food was prepared. Disappointed :
came here at the Marathon weekend. it was very busy as expected, but the entire staff from the host to the busser was incredible. loved the open communication from the kitchen. the pros are back there. the pasta ravenna was amazing, as the sides and appetizers I enjoyed. fantastic wine selection. fantastic service through and through; especially for such a busy evening! will be happy back.
The food was pretty good here. Bread comes with practically a whole block of grated cheese on top, yum. Lots of entrees to choose from with some good vegetarian options. The caprese appetizer and the Bolognese were pretty good. Absolutely love this place! The staff is friendly, on point and does their best to ensure food and drink gets out in a timely fashion, even when they are busy. Which is basically always! Both times I have been here, I had the Pasta Ravenna, which is just delightful. Their nachos are also to die for.
