We had elderly relatives staying who at the last moment decided they would prefer to eat in rather than out. Our booking at a nearby gastro pub was cancelled and we ordered our supper from Cinammon by phone at 5.30pm. By 6.15pm we were collecting Lamb Jalfreza, Chicken Korma and King Prawn Rezalas plus freshly cooked naans and delicious Onion Bhaji also Tarka Dhal. The quality of the food was first class and did not suffer by being kept hot in the oven for 30 mins on our return. Prices were reasonable for service and food. Certainly recommended.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with a friendly and playful waiter. We really enjoyed the flavors of our dishes, which were beautifully presented and had amazing flavors. The Indian cuisine was slightly spicy, but the raita helped to cool things down. Our party of 10 had a set menu with a variety of choices for each course, and the restaurant was very accommodating for our gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.
It seems that booking in advance is necessary to secure a table at this restaurant, but we were fortunate to arrive right after a last-minute cancellation and were able to be seated. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
After enjoying three hours taking in the beauty of Windsor Castle, it was the perfect finale to relax with a coffee at this welcoming restaurant/cafe. The staff made you feel truly valued as a customer.
