The nicest halal Indian restaurant I've been to in a very long time. Firstly the kids menu was the best I've seen, 4 short chicken skewers with rice, a drink and ice-cream for £9. It was a very generous portion. We selected a range from the menu: the butter chicken was spicy more of tikka masala but excellent nevertheless, chicken biryani oddly didn't have any vegetables yet still hit the spot, lamb shank melted in the mouth, aubergine dish was a nice veggie addition. Sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice-cream... wow! Two please. Nice ending to the evening was that service charge was not added, a nice surprise. Excellent friendly waiters. My wife and I took a quick boat trip to Battersea Power Station for her birthday lunch and decided to dine at this restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and mellow with a great vibe. The restaurant was bustling with lunch guests, but spacious enough to avoid being too noisy. We opted for the set menu and the food was incredibly tasty. The cocktails, especially the Coconut Kir, were fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and not overly intrusive, and kindly surprised my wife with a birthday dessert. I highly recommend dining here.
The staff at Cinnamon Kitchen were simply lovely and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. What we liked most was the 9 dish taster meal which gives you a chance to taste dishes you might not normally order and the portion sizes were just right. I'm not a big fan of lamb but their Achari Lamb Fillet was mouthwatering and I will be going back for more!
We came on a non-busy weekday which was a blessing. The place is big enough to host more people. The food was really delicious. I had the vegetarian food and it was simply superb. We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The food put a modern spin on traditional Indian dishes and was delicious. The atmosphere was lively and the service was top-notch.
The restaurant is good, but not outstanding. Most dishes were nicely presented and tasty, but I wouldn't consider it a must-try spot. The cocktails were disappointing.
