This is a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. I started coming here a few months ago and have been consistently impressed with the delicious food and freshly made sandwiches. The quality of the imported meats is top-notch. The coffee is also excellent, with a variety of flavors to choose from. The family-owned business can get busy at times, but the owners are lovely and the wait is worth it. In addition to the food, they also have a wide selection of pastas, oils, cheeses, and cookies available for purchase. I will definitely be stopping in on the weekend to buy more items. Overall, I give this restaurant a 10/10 recommendation.
My wife was born in Rome and has always appreciated the quality at Cipollina compared to many Italian-American places she visited growing up. This year, I decided to surprise her with one of their homemade chocolate cakes instead of a standard processed cake. The cake was incredibly fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious - just like she remembers. I should have taken a picture, but you can see one on their Instagram. Scroll through until you find it and you'll see why I chose to buy it!
I’ve been coming for 5 years. What keeps me coming back? Quality and consistency! Everything sold at this deli is top quality imported from Italy. Their sandwiches, paninis, are top notch. Always consistent. My favorites are the tartuffoto w/ fontina and the truffle melt. You can’t go wrong with anything u buy here I’m sure you’re gonna love it. The cherry on top? Its a local family owned business. What else could u ask for ?? Just go and don’t take my word for it!
The staff was extremely nice and our server, Michelle, was detailed in explaining the menu, the tapenade, and offered suggestions on ordering. I ended up getting the pesto gnocchi with an extra side of chicken and was impressed with the flavor of the dish as well as the portion. The interior is tastefully decorated!

I came across this place for a casual brunch and tried their incredibly delicious egg and cheese croissant. The staff was very friendly and they have a variety of tasty options. I am a regular customer now. Their egg sandwich is the best I've ever had!
I tried this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the delicious panini. However, the cannoli did not meet my expectations as it had a bitter taste and left a bad aftertaste. This was the first time I did not enjoy a cannoli.
A hidden gem in Forest hills. Glad I found this place. It's like a deli version of eataly without the price tag. The food is made fresh by order. My husband loved the Il Fico. And don't miss their canoli. My fave in NYC so far.
TRUE Italian gourmet! Have been looking for awhile for a place like this which brings me back to Italy Everytime I go there. It's truly truly amazing ! Thank you very much for bringing Italy in Queens ! You guys are amazing!
