I have another open table account and i am not sure why i didnt book this reservation with that account since i have already reviewed this restaurant, but it was a great 1st mothers day dinner. This was my first time eating here as a mom and decided to go with my baby and the cipollini crew was so accommodating and sweet from the moment i walked in to the moment i sat down and left making my 1st mothers day great. The restaurant itself was busy busy which is to be expected on mothers day but their food is also phenomenal so I wasnt surprised. Excellent food as we enjoyed our salads, entrees, and desserts. Service started off good with drinks, appetizers and main course but when it came to dessert; the restaurant got busy and the waiter was slow in bringing out our desserts. The gelato was beginning to melt from it sitting so long in the heat waiting for the waiter to pick it up. Otherwise, we did enjoy and this is why only 4 stars. Consistency is key.
We sat outside and it was lovely except that they pack so many tables into a tight area that the poor, VERY HARDWORKING bus boy had a difficult time navigating around to clear plates. He did an amazing job despite the circumstances and I feel strongly that the restaurant should know better and should raise his salary for working so hard! The fancy dressed schmoozer staff should have noticed.
I've eaten here many times and I believe I've left better reviews than this one is going to be. The service was awful. The food was mediocre. Charging $18 for 6-8 slices of an octopus tentacle was insulting. There was more onion than octopus on the plate. I do not expect to hurry back

Cesar Salad was very tasty. The veggie pizza left a little to be desired in that it seemed like the veggies weren't roasted on the pizza and were pre roasted so the flavors were not melded. Service was outstanding and we had a perfect day to sit and linger outside.
Excellent Grey Goose, not watered down! Buratta, tomatoes and arugula, fresh and delicious! The home made Butternut Squash ravioli was amazing....so delicious. Strawberry Sorbet excellent, but I wish they had raspberry!
