Not saying this will happen to everyone, but just a few warnings before you decide to go to Socialista: If you wanna use the bathroom, you need to go upstairs and use the one in Cipriani’s, so you technically leave the bar. The security guy guarding the door from the Cipriani’s back to Socialista (they’re kind of connected) was super rude. When I left the bathroom, he was on his phone while I was waiting for him to let me back in. I tried to talk to him, he wouldn’t listen. I assumed it would be cool to just walk back inside the bar (he saw me come from there and I had the stamp on my hand), but he got mad because I “touched the door” and didn’t let me back in. Never had worst service in my life. I was at the bar waiting for a drink when the bartender grabs my $200 cigar from my hands and just takes it away from me and turns it off and throws it away. The level of disrespect from that bartender was unbelievable, all that while I was seeing people smoke cigarettes Right next to me. after that she refused to serve me drinks and after i waited 30 mins to grab the other bartenders attention the other grabs her by the arm and tell her not to serve me anything and told me “your wasting your breath” Insanity
This place is a scam. I ordered 4 drinks and they added (without notification) a mandatory tip and service fee that ended up being 44% of the check. Worst part is that the service was absolute garbage despite the cost. Spent 15 minutes waiting for diluted drinks that were more than $30 each.This place is misleading people and overcharging and it should get shut down.
On word ARKITEKT! It was my first time at Socialista celebrating my recent engagement. Literally had to make my way over to the DJ booth to meet the man playing! I will for sure seek his music out when deciding where to go out for the night!
