We ordered dinner on line. When we arrived, 10 min after it was supposed to be ready, I was told. It will be a few minutes. When I asked why it was late I received a huffy reply, it is just late . A minutes later they asked my name, and a few minutes later told me they did not have my order. In the background are cooks dancing behind the counter. I walked to my car, got my phone and showed them the order. When I returned the cooks were gone and one of the staff was trying to find them. When we ordered online and went to pick up the food, the order was placed correctly but the food was not brought out to us curbside as requested. When we got home, the order was a mess - missing sauces, incorrect bread, cold meat, and forgotten sides. The store was deserted and the staff seemed unprofessional, eating and goofing off in plain sight. When I returned to the store to have the order fixed, the manager was unhelpful and rude. To start with the place was filthy, floors, tables, restrooms, all of it. We found napkins to clean our table. The food prep employees had a food fight, actually throwing food at each other! In addition, the foul language! As they yelled at each other the entire time we were there. The ice machine didn’t work, and they weren’t the least bit apologetic about it. The food quality was poor as well. I hope this isn’t the direction all City Barbecues are going. We certainly will never try this one again.
This place has good food bad service and they don’t listen my order is always incorrect and when ever I let them know my order is wrong I get the worst attitudes from the employees and manager if there was another location I would definitely go there. waiting time was longer than expected eating was not as good as I know it might have been earlier experience) table we dirty and müll overflowing floor sticky and in the necessity of a good mopping and beverage and sauce area was a complete chaos and no one around to treat the problems or complaining / requesting from customers. they just lacked the whole board? I'll try differently next time.
always love eating, but this particular website needs a Mgmt upgrade. we waited half an hour, admitted it was vaterday, but don't tell me when it's gonna be ready if it won't be. then we found out that they were from my chosen meat selection. I was offered as a replacement and waited for it. the young manager was friendly and polite. the young at the pickup counter needs some restaurant label.
Used to be a great spot. Now they can’t get in person orders correct. They rang me up 3 different times because they couldn’t take my order correctly. Nothing complicated. Then they over charged me. Employees act like they don’t care and don’t want to be there. Customer service is nonexistent. Disappointing
they don't really crash. you have to go in. they pack the bags so full that all broth or sandwiches are completely debrised. they thought it was ridiculous that I wanted to be replaced. I had city bbq today. the chicken was great and the baked beans. the bananenpudding is the best! but the man was a disappointment. the noodles were so overcooked that they were smart and disgusting!
