This bar has an excellent concept with an extensive selection of beers. They offer a wide array of canned options, similar to what you'd find in a dedicated beer store, along with around 18 draft choices. I found the food to be surprisingly good, featuring some unique and flavorful options. We tried two different types of pretzels and I ordered a panini, and everything was very enjoyable. The atmosphere is straightforward, which I appreciate, and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. I definitely plan to return during my next visit to the area.
Fantastic craft beer bar! They offer a wide variety of beers on tap, along with an even larger selection in cans and bottles. It's the perfect spot to explore new craft brews, both local and from across the country. You'll definitely find more options than you could possibly try in one visit. The atmosphere is relaxed, not too crowded or loud, making it enjoyable for both on-site drinking and takeout. Plus, there's no waiting in line or competing for space at the bar. Highly recommend!
Hands down, the best beer joint in Midtown and Lower Manhattan. Angel is what really makes this place stand out. I’m so glad it has been around for five years and counting. The food is excellent as well. Not sure I understand the complaints on the corkage fee—it is one of the lowest around. Obviously no corkage fee on draft pours. Highly recommend for any beer lover out there. Come for lunch or dinner.Vegetarian options: City Beer has a vegetarian section on the menu that is excellent.
All love and service here. I was in town for a few days for a conference and I initially came in to buy a couple cans to go, but I went back a 3 days later when the conference was over to get a couple pints and I had the best dog of my life. It's the hot diggity dog on the menu. Angel, the owner or manager, is a great guy. I'd definitely stop in next time I'm in NY. Great place with huge selection of beers. Service impeccable and accommodating. Got a few beers from the draft menu while selecting the togo beers. Highly recommended
Amazing craft beer that is unique and hard to find anywhere else in NYC. Great west coast and east coast IPAs. Do chat with Angel the owner who is very helpful.
City Berr truly has an excellent beer collection and fantastic service. Truly a hidden gem in New York City. Check it out while you still can!
