I booked reservations online and noted that we had a special event which was a birthday. Our server was great, however the host was obnoxious! It appears that they have a hour dining limit, for which we were not aware, it’s noted on table in fine print, when the host came up an abruptly ask us to pay pretty mush ask us to leave. I have no limit, with the time constraints, however let me know when I get their so I can one , eat somewhere else, or two be mineful of the time. Our bill was we weren’t sitting around not ordering. I will not be returning. A host is suppose to make the environment better, this individual who worked on Sunday October is not suited for this type of environment!
My husband and I went on a double date with another couple. We were searching of a nice restaurant but didn’t want to travel into the city. This was the perfect place. For a Saturday it wasn’t busy at all, we were seated at a half-round booth, spacious for people. Appetizers -Calamari, truffle fries and mini sliders. Everything g was delicious except the truffle fries. Needed more truffle it was very bare Dinner- short rib, lobster Mac and cheese and steak was ordered. Every dish was delicious. Our server, Pablo was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. Can’t wait to dine again
Have been to City Cellar many times including special occasions over the years. and was expecting the same quality of food that is always served. We were totally disappointed in the breaded Calamari appetizer which when arrived was luke warm and the calamari was hard and chewy. I have enjoyed the appetizer before and recommended it to my guest. Totally disappointed !
Too many bugs fliying around the indoor dining area. One flew into a drink of the person sitting next to us, several hovered and landed on the food I was eating. The wait staff was amazing. Attentive, personable and did their best to make everything a pleasant dining experience.

Food was good, nothing outstanding. Waitress was very attentive. Our biggest problem was that it was very loud. I would return again, but probably only for lunch when it might be quieter.
butternut squash ravioli was horrible. Lunch is a much better choice at this restaurant
