We really wanted to like this place... its close, it looks really nice, its fresh, well decorated and very clean. But there was a lot of issues. I don't pretend to know everything about bars... but... I have lots of experience... I ran bars and nightclubs in London and Ireland, me and my brother turned dive rundown bars into profitable bars. We got wrong orders, wrong dressing for a salad...and one entre at least 7 minutes before the other. The food was just ok... nothing great, nothing terrible... I would guess liquid fire on the meat? Please correct me if I am wrong. Ordered a salad that came with meat bacon eggs... I asked for all 3 to be excluded which they were, but nothing was substitu...
I only gave this restaurant one star because our waiter was attentive and tried to fix everything that was wrong. Unfortunately, our experience did not improve. The drinks, specifically the Pepsi and the ****** Mary, were subpar and not made properly. The meat in the short rib sandwiches was burnt, dry, and lacked flavor. My husband's burger tasted like freezer burn. The noise level was also excessive, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant. If you enjoy bottled beer and loud music, then this might be the spot for you.
Man…this place was pretty bad. I ordered the lettuce wraps for all of the yummy toppings (ie. pickled onions, tomatillo salsa, and carrots), but I didn’t receive any of those toppings. Just a bunch of cheese and dry cabbage…to put on top of the dry chicken. Not just dry. It was completely void of moisture. It was the consistency of jerky. The corn soup had the consistency of loose mashed potatoes. Lol. An epic waste of $40. Horrible. Sad. Pathetic. Now I have to go to Del Taco…because we’re still hungry.
This restaurant in West Covina is quite charming. They offer a free comedy show every Thursday night, curated by a man who typically works on cruise ships. It's a fun experience, especially because there aren't many other entertainment options in town on a Thursday night. The restaurant attracts a mix of Gen X diners and has great screens for watching football and baseball. The comedy show starts at 8:30pm and is free of charge.

I had the breakfast sandwich and my husband had the short rib grilled cheese. It was a bit bland, but overall not bad. I also tried the pozole, which I was pleasantly surprised to find had good flavor. It didn't come with all the usual garnishes, but it was still satisfying. The brunch staff was incredibly kind and friendly.
The food was delicious! Honestly it was and the coffee was good too. The 4 stars is because we weren't sure if it was open though. We had to step inside and ask...and it was open. We were the only customers the entire time we were there. I wish more people would visit this restaurant. The food is a 5 star!
The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice our waiter was a nice young man, I ordered fish tacos included were black beans on the side..my beans were cold my fish tacos were a surprise of one very small fish with dry cabbage...it was not worth 15.00 dollars.. this was on Saturday Sept 24 around 6:30...

Good restaurant. We tried the nachos and brisket sandwiche. Make sure you reserve in advance when they have DJ events, whether it's in the restaurant or outside patio. Cool place.Food: 5/5
