we missed the breakfast in the hotel, and I'm so glad we did. we decided to try the breakfast in city line diner. one of the best meals of our trip! I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich that comes with a side of kartoffeln. I also have a pancake. that sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. the waitress suggested the brioche roll, and it was so soft and buttery. they put the cheese in the boiled egg, and this warm cheese with the perfectly boiled egg, with this soft brioche roll was amazing. the pancake that is huge was also perfect. my friend got a complete breakfast with pancakes and everything was great. the eggs were perfect. even the toast was really good. the waiting...
I would skip this one and go to the Twisted Fork just a couple miles down the road in Cherry Valley if you're looking for a good breakfast. This place is overpriced for the bland food they serve, and if I'm paying 12 14 on a breakfast meal it better have some flavor. I did enjoy the home fries and the banana chocolate chip pancakes were pretty decent, but everything was so blah tasting to me that I wasn't even full after eating everything. The bacon was over cooked and not flavorful either. I'm not sure why so many hype this diner up as there are plenty of awesome diners in Worcester county that blow this one away, in price and taste. We ate lunch here and can only recommend. We had sandwiches, though breakfast is served all day. I had a bacon tomato grilled cheese, with sweet potatoes on the side, and it was great. The sweet potatoes were among the best I've ever had, and the tomato bacon grilled cheese was grilled to perfection. Super friendly place and lovely decor. You have to order an omelette to see the cutest thing evah. So the staff know what each omelette is they create a display with a small piece of all the fillings on the top. Delicious food. Always fast service and a great breakfast. I do a lot of pick up . I have gotten the waffles with strawberry and whip cream, delicious. My favorite is their homemade corn beef hash. So good.
the only place I know is the Irish benedikt right: personal is always friendly and attentive 0 complaining. ate the other court too fast so that don’t get a good picture will update when we come back!
