Wonderful place. Owner is a real gem who cares about quality and value. Ordered my clams on the crispy side and they were simply sublime. Lobster roll on brioche is fantastic. The clam chowder, which is delicious has no pork, a rare treat as I rarely get to order it. All homemade including the tarter sauce and coleslaw, both amazing. Not many places make tarter sauce or coleslaw anymore so you can see what I mean about the family pride that guides this place including the twice a day seafood delivery and frequent cooking oil changes. A find! Also classic rock at reasonable volume to go with the great al fresco setting. Thanks for an epic lunch. I'll be back! Update July 2018: Back 10 months...
This is the best seafood in Massachusetts, no question about it. I grew up here and have tried plenty of lobster, haddock, and more. This restaurant truly stands out. Their lobster roll and clam chowder are my favorites. The portions are generous and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The owner is really friendly and welcoming, which adds to the experience. Plus, the views of the water are a fantastic bonus.

Today was the first time I tried eating here. It was a beautiful day I had the fried calamari basket .they were the best I ever had ,very tender. My boys had the haddock nd a cheese burger and fries It was a pleasant experience and we will be back …from Salem nh
The food was absolutely delicious, and the waterfront views were stunning. I haven't enjoyed a good lobster roll in years, but the Clam Shack's lobster roll was a buttery delight, served on a perfectly sweet brioche bun.
It's not truly summer unless you visit this place. The seafood is outstanding, and my personal favorite is the fried scallops accompanied by onion rings. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the sunsets are beautiful.
Outside dining with a harbor view and excellent seafood choices I had fried clams scallops while my wife had a deluxe lobster roll. Both were delicious!

Haddock sandwich; clam chowder — excellent! Crab roll — good Steamed clams — okay. Lots of sand and needed to take home to rinse.
