Clancy's Fish And Chips

I will NOT be going back. I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, but have yet to see why people like it, or continue to visit. From start to finish the whole take out experience was less than enjoyable. The got my order wrong wouldn’t fix it for me, even when I said I didn’t mind waiting for a new fish to be fried up. When I went to pay, I was forced to use their ATM and pay a fee because they only accept cash as payment apparently which wasn’t warned to me when I ordered via phone. I definitely won’t be returning for their sub par customer service and small and disappointing portions. Thank you Virginia Hackson for the post recommending Clancy’s Fish and Chips in Queenville. This was our family’s first time trying them and we were not disappointed. Being only 8 minutes from our house, making it pretty much our closest restaurant, we will be back. We experienced delicious lightly battered halibut and homemade chips. The battered mushrooms were ok. They were all out of the batter pineapple, which was a disappointment, but will entice us back real soon. Remember to support local.

delicious hot haddock and chips. Shawn and I loved our dinner tonight. always great when we get take out. it's a treat and Clancy's is never a let down. Thank you for great food and service ????

Great friendly place with excellent halibut and chips you will find in northern part of York Region. Prices are very fair and have been coming to this place once or twice a week.

First time having Clancy’s Fish Chips. It was good. Wish we could have eaten it at the restaurant but not possible right now. We’ll be back when this COVID-19 is over.

Amazing fish and chips! They were all out of Halibut but encouraged me to try the cod and it did not disappoint! So so delicious and can’t wait to go back!
