Classics is a down to earth gem, rare in these days of frilly, yet disappointing, and expensive restaurants. Exceptional bar food for cheap, particularly their pizza (1/2 price Sat), chicken wings (50 cents Fri, and nachos. Draft beer and heavy handed drinks, also cheap, make hanging out a few hours easy to do. This is my favorite place to enjoy a game, and I 'll happily drive 45 min from Ballard to continue supporting this great local staple. Come here often enough, and you 'll find your favorite bartender who will learn your order and maybe even become your new best friend. Classics is the best! Slim really makes every time we visit special and full of fun. She will dedicate the time out of her busy night to make sure your visit is top notch. This is the only bar I will be at regularly. The bar is super clean, the food is delicious, cheap and the atmosphere is so welcoming. If you care about quality service, this is the place to go yall!!!! You WILL be taken care of by their amazing staff!
The atmosphere here is fantastic! The music is lively and there are plenty of locals around. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. As for the staff, although they were busy, they were still very attentive and ensured we had an enjoyable experience. Slim is an absolute gem! The team's energy is wonderful! I'm really glad I discovered this place and I'll definitely be returning!
Cool place but they do something I've learned from Jon Taffer that is very detrimental to their business. The 2 that were working there were not starting tabs or ringing up drinks at the time of purchase. I paid for my single beer before leaving but by playing the trust game you're bound to have people walking out without paying. Please start opening tabs, other than that a decent enough time. This bar has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable time. With shuffleboard, darts, pool tables, great music, and an amazing staff, it truly stands out. To make it even better, the kitchen offers the best bar food I've ever tasted, with large portion sizes and generous drinks. I absolutely love this place!
I visited for a drink and dinner after seeing positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. Both the staff and the other patrons were friendly and attentive. My Reuben sandwich was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic!
