Clay's Popeye's Bbq

I got the lunch special, I’m not crazy about rib tips myself but they were great. What I really enjoyed was the pulled pork, it was sooooooo good. I did the medium level sauce and it had a nice amount of zest, I will likely do hot next time. For sure will be getting some more of that pulled pork!

I had the catfish and steak fries. It's the best catfish I have ever had in my life. Tender, cornmealy, seasoned right. With some delicious hot sauce.

Great BBQ handed down from generations before the Clays bought it. Parking: Small lot on the side of the building as well.

We had the pork sandwich, and the 1/2 rib tips. Absolutely delicious! This is a treasure in Springfield!!

Fantastic meal at a reasonable price. Some of the best BBQ in town.
