Our long anticipated visit at the Clocktower was a mix of excitement and letdown. The place is huge, for sure over 250 seats and looks like a wannabe Hard Rock Café/50ies Diner/Biker Bar. The decoration is for sure the main focus of the restaurant. Our visit was during the week and 50% of the restaurant was empty so we got seated in the only full and lively section, the smokers area. There is a bar inside and nice and comfortable boots to sit. The menu is huge and looks like with a lot of pictures and explanations of the dishes. The first drink order was taken right away, the beer selection is quite small for a place like this. We would have expected at least 10 different beers from tab and...
Great meal out here. Chicken burger and fries were perfectly cooked as were the ribs. Our waitress Natalie was super friendly (which was amazing as Austrian customer service is generally awful) we arrived arrived around 1630 and had heard a booking was required but nevertheless they fitted us in. Definitely coming back to Clocktower in Brunn am Gebirge.
Der Ort ist gut gestaltet und hat eine sehr amerikanische Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte ist zwar nicht riesig, scheint aber gut umgesetzt zu sein. Ich hatte den Farmers Burger mit Wedges und beide waren gut zubereitet. Die Wedges waren knusprig und nicht fettig und der Burger war gut zubereitet. Auch anderen in der Gruppe schmeckte das Essen.
We went for dinner, we had the 1 kg sirloin steak and the beef ribs with some side item selections. First of all the food was amazing. It was well cooked and the taste was excellent. The negative comments are, the food took around 40 min to arrive and most of the waiting staff were frowning all the time
