Clowne Fish Bar - Tisch reservieren

Popped in early friday afternoon after missing out for a year due to the pandemic, for a small chips and a small and large cod. The previous owners have since retired and the son is running the business. Well what can i say.. super clean enviroment and still safeguarding measures in place. if its still good enough for our NHS, then its good enough elsewhere. The cod was lightly golden battered, not something that is going to give you a coranay. and the cod itself absolutely beautiful. It was as white as driven snow. Apparently they still do wet fish for people who want their fish without batter. His parents used to have a good reputation but if he keeps this up he will out do his parents rep...

Very disappointed with the mini fish I wasn’t aware that the skin was left on the fish I would have been nice if they made you aware they leave the skin on that way we would have ask for it without skin I can’t remember the last time I was served fish with skin on unfortunately this spoiled our lunch we threw the fish away waste of £18

Absolutely beautiful fish and chips, the service was super fast and the young lady that served me (small and blonde) is so friendly and a real credit to the business! Will definitely be coming again

My partner just fetched me chips roe and curry, apparently it has new owners , it was excellent better than before. Thank you ,

Excellent food. Large cod are extremely small and not worth the money compared to other similar fish and chip shops.
