Out of all the lunch spots I have tried, I have found this restaurant to be one of the best. There was plenty of parking, ample seating, reasonable prices, and the food was quite delicious. I sat at the bar and the other customers were friendly and welcoming. The bread basket served with the meal was unique, with a variety of breadsticks, crackers, and two types of bread. The salad that accompanied the meal was standard, but the meal itself was generous in portion size and well seasoned. This restaurant will now be my go-to spot when in this area, as it offers a good balance of cost and quality/variety of menu options. Waiting was really long, not because the night was busy, but because the waitress really knew nothing about the food restrictions, which certainly did not know for them, but for the owner. I would suggest adding simple symbols to their menu to guide customers so that dinge like vegetarian, spicy, gluten-free can be easily discovered that would have eliminated the waiting of 1.5 hours for our net. the gnocchi was a really great dish, the salmon was not all the impressive couple with rice that was undercooked. the ambiente is really beautiful and it is a beautiful restaurant, but for the price I don't think that the experience it is worth.
Great food ! Staff was friendly, patient with my VERY dusty french ! Ambiance was nice upstairs ! Bit of a wait , but to be 100% honest we didn't have reservations ! So it was a good experience all around .

J'aime beaucoup pour la bouffe et l'ambiance. Tartare de saumon délicieux. Bon choix de vin. La plus belle terrasse a Salaberry de Valleyfield.
As another reviewer accurately pointed out, the restaurant is average at best but above average for Valleyfield.
