Fmiliy recommendation, reported good service and food. but a split vote on atmosphere!. Booked Sunday lunch, mine host ticking off diners as they arrived pleasent waitress took drink, food orders and also, produced a bottle of water,all very quickly .Actually discovered there two waitresses,...who were look alights !. Restricted Sunday menu , shared starter of whitebait good as, also was the roast beef. Accompaning the beef were, red cabbage,,kale, parsnips, mash, colliflower cheese and, a soft but, not soggy, Yorkshire pudding. Regretably my wife,s requested half portion, of the beef was a little to much for her. Regarding we oldies thoughts on atmosphere, appears to have some quirky areas...
this place was open when the law that should protect us all said it should be closed. I did my best when I heard that they sell garden products for the local daycare center that is a mental health. it was exaggerated to find drinks, and the pavement was stunned with drinking. absolutely shocking and still shocked to see the abuse that the poor suckers got from the local council when they try to enforce the law. Previously this was a big pub, but now the inhabitants are angry and the advice looks like they would revoke his license, and I bet they have already taken from the gow and robbed the half of the staff. a shame.
here today advised and are dekerned, this was our favorite pub had it a nice cozy atmosphere. loved the charity pub quiz and tasty pork cake for half time. looks like this was upgraded, but hopefully not too much. because this could spoil its traditional character. we were always greeted by employees and other customers. so sad
Great classic pub. Beer is great quality. Always a warm welcome from the staff. Not silly prices, but standard Harrogate rates. Always a treat when they have pork pies on. Have visited with family and friends, ideal for any occasion. Good for a session or...a quick pint.

A very pleasurable experience in this classic pub with a great choice of drinks and good value food options. Good cask beer and an excellent choice of whisky served in a very friendly and cosy environment by friendly staff. Well worth a visit and we...will be back soon.
We have been regulars at the Coach Horses for years and love the place! The atmosphere and service is always great! Generally the food is good but a bit below par today. Cold, dry chips and lukewarm overpriced soup. During previous visits have enjoyed...eating more.
I called for lunch and found the most popular pub after closing by the Council still closed. such a scandal as harrogate has a lack of traditional cozy bars, hope the new owners can open soon.
Stopped here on our way through after some time away and enjoyed the meal. Just good food, piping hot and very filling. If ever back in the area I would be back.
