We had visited in August of this year and when we arrived in Cornwall one of the first things we did was to book for Sunday lunch. In my previous review I had said that the Yorkshire puddings were very singed, not so this time. The roast beef was so tender and the whole meal was appetizing and delicious. The waitree who brought our desserts was so helpful, I had forgotten to mention that I am allergic to strawberries and when my brownie was served with one on top she immediately went and replaced it with another portion, something that she did not have to do and I was very grateful for her help with this. We will definitely be booking for lunch again when we are next in Cornwall.
What a gem of a place to visit for dinner tonight first visit to here and what a place soon as you walked through the door was greeted by the owner and a lovely guy and took us to our table lovely decor through out and the food was superb I had the pork belly and it was delicious my wife had the goats cheese and mushroom burger which she throughly enjoyed after wards the owner came over and asked if everything was OK with the food and we all said was delicious this is a must visit pub -restaurant while in Cornwall we will be going back again when next down this way 5 star service superb food thanks again to the owner and the staff
We have eaten at the Coach and Horses on several occasions, as a couple, also with friends and have never been disappointed. Great food, great service at reasonable prices.
Popped in for Sunday lunch. Lovely homemade soup followed by an extremely good roast. Would definitely come again. Possibly our new go to Sunday lunch place

Lovely welcoming warm log fire, good food and dog friendly. We had a lunch here and found it good value. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
We enjoyed a fantastic evening. The food was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and Will recommend.
They serve a good dinner in a friendly pub with a large car park.It has the atmosphere you would expect from an ancient hostelry
