We ate in the outside patio area and not inside. The outside are was bar service and not table service, so we had to go up to the bar every time we want something. However it was the exact same menu which was very expensive. I don’t paying higher prices at restaurants when we get good food and good service. But when we are paying between $30-40 for share plates (that are very small servings) we would expect table service. The whole experience wasn’t very impressive. The restaurant inside might be lovely we wouldn’t know , but the experience outside was very below par especially for the prices.
Here you have a new restaurant front and centre at Surfers Paradise with a clientele from Melbourne and Sydney wanting an unforgettable experience Unfortunately, not to be. Screaming fire alarms from the kitchen, an $87 wagyu steak served luke warm and limited offering on the menu didn't sit well. For a formal setting, lighting should be dimmed with side lights doing all the work as needed. Staff attire needs a serious review. To pay almost $300 bucks for 2 people..??? Seriously lift your game guys. Front and centre in Surfers at a brand new Meriton tower. I will not be back. Shame.
We ordered the lamb shoulders, and both were perfectly prepared. For sides, we had the broccolini, which was exceptionally flavorful, and the mac and cheese, which could have used a touch more salt, but it was still delicious. The cocktails were amazing; it was hard to pick a favorite. The staff were incredibly friendly and ensured we had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
An absolute gem of a spot. It has become a favorite place to enjoy the best view on the GC beaches in great ambience (Sax DJ is sensational on a Sunday) and a great Happy Hour with half price oysters that are so fresh.

Every dish was delicious, served promptly, and the waitstaff was attentive and provided excellent explanations of the menu, complete with helpful recommendations. I look forward to returning to try more!
