This is such a cool brewery! This has become of my favorites among my top picks (boundry bayin Bellingham, Aslan in Bellingham, and icicle brewery in Leavenworth). The beers were top notch. My girlfriend and I had two different IPAs and they were both great! I am not usually one for IPAd but it did not have a very hoppy taste and had good notes of citrus that rounded it out well. The atmosphere was really cool as well. The seating is well set up and there is a giant connect four game set up outside. This charming brewery features plenty of outdoor patio seating and a great selection of beers. Emma was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my beer flight choices. I loved that their beer markers are made with magnets and come in adorable shapes like mountains and clouds. The beer flights consist of four 5oz samples for just $10, which is quite reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the Hope You're Happy, Juice Box Sour Wit, and Captain Wonderful's Sparkly Fizzy Pop Sour. I visited on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see a few other customers there. I ordered a flight of beers for 12 CAD and I must say that the red ale (second in the photo) and the stout (fourth) are definitely acquired tastes. The light lager (first) was very refreshing, but my favorite was the Hope You're Juicy IPA (third). It has a bold, juicy flavor with fruity notes and a slightly bitter aftertaste. One of the cutest features is that the symbols on the flight match those on the menu, making it easy to identify each beer—such a lovely idea! The overall atmosphere was cozy, especially with the abundance of natural sunlight. The Wi-Fi was great as well!
Great little brewery room in Function Junction. This place has a 'locals ' feel to it, so much that I 'm hesitant to write it a five star review for fear of ruining what makes this place special. Cozy mountain décor with local art and wooden furnishings. Beers are excellent. I 've tried their IPAs and pilsners, and both are fantastic. Snacks are available to purchase, but there is no hot food served here. There are also chilled cans of beer for sale to take home. I really enjoy this charming place at Function Junction. After a morning hike, I treated myself to their IPA flight while listening to an awesome playlist! The interior is stylish, and the outdoor patio is a great spot to relax. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and they offer some cool merchandise. I had a wonderful time sampling some delicious IPAs in this fun venue!
Excellent beer, service and atmosphere. In my opinion, you're not a craft brewery and you don't allow dogs. Coast Mountain welcomes your dog, provides water bowls and treats. Their IPA's are solid both the west coast style and New England. Brad was an excellent host.
The Hope You’re Happy IPA has become one of my personal favorites- and I drink a lot of beer! The outdoor space is welcoming and dog friendly, I can’t wait to come back for another pint!
