Really nice menu with lots of options and some specials. Another lovely meal, steaks cooked to perfection. Really impressed that they had a gluten free option for my daughter for bread and olives, so many places don't do this. My husband had the cod and chips and it was huge! Wine list is good and quite reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely and the service very good.
We enjoyed lunch here before going off to an afternoon wedding and the following morning we had a family breakfast together. The menu choices were good, the food was excellent, the service efficient and the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation in the hotel was also very satisfactory. We were glad we booked at the Swan Revived.
The table was well sited by window. Seven of us ate and enjoyed the meal. Downside was the time to get drinks after ordering and time between courses- other tables were served before us though they arrived later. Very pleasant staff but not fully directed to get food and drinks out . Good atmosphere. I would recommend restaurant for the food.
The food was good, well presented and the staff friendly and well presented. However I was slightly disappointed in the choice of food on the menu, it was very pub grub, I was hoping considering the location and style of the place that a more classy menu would be available. We loved the restaurant it still has character features like the plaster mouldings. The lunch menu gives a wide choice (including a light bites menu). The service was excellent, and the food was deliciously well cooked. The portion sizes are good we didn't have room for desert (Shame).
We went vack for valentines dsy following a lovely meal last year. This year not as good we were made to wait in the bar dispite th restaurant being empty. The service was good but food not great meat over cooked.
