I've noticed for quite some time that their multigrain bread is often burnt. During our latest visit, my husband mentioned to the staff that the bread was burnt and unsuitable for eating (we had bought four loaves). Unfortunately, the staff member did not apologize or provide any solution; she seemed indifferent to our concerns. We hoped they would address the issue by adjusting their oven settings, reducing the baking time, or better managing the temperature, as we suggested. However, the problem persists, and we've decided not to return to this location.
The experience at this restaurant can be quite variable. Personally, I prefer my bread with a bit more salt, and I believe the baguette from Save On Foods is much better. I was also surprised to see hot dog buns labeled as "Brioche," especially since there was no actual Brioche available, which I prefer over croissants. When I inquired about it, one of the staff members responded somewhat sarcastically, saying, "Perhaps they are too sophisticated for Kamloops." Really? There’s tough competition for pastries from Gold Leaf just up the hill.
I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at the Kamloops location on May 22nd. The young ladies working there greeted us with an attitude as soon as we walked in. Additionally, when we ordered a few pastries, we discovered after leaving that they were not what we had requested. It seems that if the employees had taken a bit more time to listen to our order and showed a bit less attitude, they could have gotten it right. I'm not impressed and won't be returning to this location.
Terrible customer service from the the young ladies working at the Kamloops location on May 22nd. They all seemed to have an attitude from the minute you walk in the door. In addition, we ordered a few pastries which we realized after we left was notthe ones we asked for. Maybe if these employees spent a little more time listening to what the customer wanted and had a littleless attitude they could have gotten our order correct. Not impressed and will not be returning to this location.

I didn't have the best experience at this location. The cashier told me they couldn't provide the icing for the cinnamon buns on the side, which has always been available at other Cobs Bread locations I've visited. Also, when I asked for a plastic bag, the cashier gave me a peculiar look. On a positive note, I did appreciate that they had hand sanitizer available at the entrance and limited the number of customers in the store to two at a time.
I truly love the Sunflower Flax Sourdough Cobs, but I'm quite disappointed with the new Cobs Club reward program. Living out of town means I can only visit every 3-4 weeks, so I was frustrated to find out that the $5 reward I earned expired after just 2 weeks. It’s disappointing for such an excellent bakery.
Every Monday morning, our office stops by this Cob's Bakery location to pick up a selection of delectable baked goods. The customer service here is outstanding—special thanks to Bailey! Everything we try is always mouthwatering. Keep up the amazing work; you've secured our office as loyal customers for good!

It takes quite a while to accumulate enough points for just $5, and they expire in just two weeks. What a disappointment! There shouldn’t be an expiration date at all!
The best bread and pastries in the area! Always fresh and accompanied by outstanding customer service!
