Frank makes the best coffee! The quality of the coffee has significantly improved since he started working here. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is quite tasty. However, I regret to inform you that I'm dropping my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. While the coffee remains exceptional, the food prices are just too high. The only reasonably priced item on the menu is the $3 chips. You have to pay extra for additional lettuce, tomato, or even sauce? I could name at least a dozen places with better prices. This café offers excellent value, with main dishes priced at just $15.00 in Glenelg. I enjoyed the bark with basil and chili, as well as the lemongrass chicken and green curry. The food had a superb balance of flavors, with very fresh ingredients and quick service. I dined here three out of the four nights I was in town. I'm from Melbourne, have celiac disease, and can be quite picky about my food, so I tend to be a bit demanding when it comes to dining out.
The food was excellent, and the service was quick with friendly staff. My only complaints are that the blueberry smoothie lacked flavor—maybe it could use a banana or some yogurt. Also, during the busy times, we had trouble finding a menu; a staff member eventually handed us two that were hidden behind the register. It would be great to have them more accessible for customers.
We visit the restaurant at Glenelg with our little one on Sunday evenings, and we always order the best Asian dishes. The Pad Thai is a must-try, and I recommend the seafood style as well. Myself and another mate had the eggs benny which was great however another mate had the scrambled eggs. He was disappointed. I thought the prices were quite reasonable. The cups were a special attention being a but old fashioned style with old style spoon as well. I don't drink coffee but there appearance was good.
We eat here frequently, and it never disappoints us. The staff is friendly, there’s a fantastic selection of dishes, the food is very tasty, the service is quick, and they offer our favorite Asian beer. I couldn't ask for more!
I loved it. I ordered Malaysian noodles kway teow and my friend ordered tom yum suppe. we loved them both.The price is approx. $17 for a person. the personal was friendly and service was fast. we recommend this place to all.
