If you're thinking of buying Groupon voucher for this place.. Dont bother! Spend your money on a diff deal.. the food didn't come out like the groupon picture.. Groupon photo looks delicious, sticky and generous portion of drumstick.. So disappointed to see that we only got 1 piece of drumstick which is very lacking in sauce and flavour, in the end i just left half of my plain rice.. Service was mehhh one lady was nice the other lady was not so friendly (possibly language thing).. a charming caffe in French style, which is located along the quiet part of hay st, cocoa rose with standard breakfast and brunch items, with some Filipino twists. the chicken bo with rice or salat was interesting, although the salatversion definitiw was the more substantiative. granatapfele, green leaves, tomatoes and feta have really helped to lift the taste and add the texture to the dish.. Nice little cafe. Service was a hit and miss. The lady at the counter wasn't really helpful when I asked for recommendation. Ended up ordering Turkey Bagel, Flat White coffee House made Friand. Turkey Bagel was quite sad I'd say. There was enough turkey, but you can barely taste the cream cheese and cranberry sauce. It's not worth $12. Flat White was alright, they gave me a cookie too. House made friand was pretty good, moist. I wouldn't rush going back though.
3.1 stars are too high for this place. the atmosphere is under the average, the workers have no idea what goes ahead and what more, I ordered directly on their website and it did not go through their system, but still load me and they do not have my food because they use a third party system on their website to collect payment and do not believe it was. I tried to find a place all morning just to get the breakfast.

Cocoa and Rose is a small quaint cafe located on Hay Street towards the East Perth end where Tiffin Room once stood. I had been recommended to check out the lunch at Tiffin Room for the longest time but did not get a chance until recently. By the time I visited though, it had been replaced by Cocoa and Rose. Nevertheless I went in for a quick lunch.
in a beautiful oppositely great location as the hotel is coming, but I had the sadst breakfast. do not order the sausage sandwich. it's a sausage-dice for $10. the service was good, the staff was polite. I expected something special in view of the beautiful interior
I have recently visited Cocoa Rose since the ownership change and noticed good friendly staff and tasty food since the change of chef. I ordered the beef roll which was tasty and filling. value for money. Would recommend to friends.
try their tormented jazz and a benedict. eating and coffee is good, but the aeration in the restaurant is not the best. They also offer music lessons, i.e. gitarre, vocal, violin etc.

This is one cafe that I would go to grab a quick bite from time to time as it's close to where I work. I don't mind the sandwiches they do at all. Plus the staff here are friendly.
This place isn't bad. They do a good sandwich. The coffee was well made and the presentation was great.
