We tried a Caesar salad and another Sri Lankan dish, and it was by far the worst meal we've ever had. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and simply inedible, while the other dish was terrible as well. The restaurant's interior was dirty, and the food was subpar—better suited for those only interested in drinks, though I don't understand why anyone would choose to dine here for that. There's a lot of potential for this place, but I give it a 0/10 for its performance. There's a clear lack of professionalism, and it feels like they need to improve their menu offerings rather than settling for average dishes.
We visited this restaurant for breakfast and have now also tried dinner during a short trip to the Valley, specifically at the Redlynch Valley Estate tour. The experience was excellent, offering a selection of both Asian and traditional dishes. The portion sizes were generous, and we definitely plan to return to try more from the menu.
A must try if you're looking for good Sri Lankan cuisine in Cairns! We got the chicken kottu, hot butter cuttlefish, lamb curry with coconut roti and the Sri Lankan fried rice. Each dish was delicious and authentic. Prices were reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend!
This is a fantastic restaurant for dining. Guests can savor their meals while enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is exceptional. I will definitely return when I'm in Cairns.
